Historic home garden wedding

Our couple, Ellen and Danny, had a vision for their intimate garden wedding in New Orleans. All of the small details came together perfectly for their intimate celebration of love.

Venue

They booked The Mazant for the weekend to have a multi-day wedding event. The New Orleans Airbnb served as their home base for the wedding weekend.


Design

The neutral elements of the white florals paired with the wooden tables allowed the pops of blue to be featured in the napkins and vases. The blue and white ceramic vases complemented the blue and white napkins. The bride wanted a more distressed look and brought in furniture from Distressed Rentals.


Logistics + Timeline of Day

We adapted the wedding vision to what the venue offered! We had the ceremony in the lush garden, then transitioned guests to the pool deck for a cocktail hour while the couple enjoyed a private moment and meal and the team flipped the ceremony space to the reception space.


Once the bride and groom joined the guests, they returned to the former ceremony space at The Mazant to be greeted with Distressed Rentals wooden tables for their seated dinner.


After dinner, the guests transitioned back to the pool deck for dancing under the bistro lights and quality time with their loved ones.
